The
Lightbox Mod, which comes bundled for free with
ImageFolio Professional Edition, allows your site visitors to collect their favorite images or
files and save them to a virtual "lightbox." Once in the lightbox,
a user can view a personal automated or manual slideshow with realtime delay
controls. By clicking an email button, a user can email a lightbox to one
or more recipients. Last, but not least, The Lightbox Mod has built in Zip
functionality so your site visitors can collect, then download one Zip file
of all their favorite images, movies, and other files, with the click of a
button!
The Lightbox Mod can function
as a lightbox/album/wishlist etc. where site visitors can place images together
for later viewing. It includes tools for playing a slide show, emailing images
and downloading images.

Slideshow
The Lightbox can show a slide show of your current selected images. It is
smart enough to only include image files in the slide show. Movie or other
types that are in the lightbox will not be included in the slide show. The
Slide show speed is user selectable so site visitors can, depending on their
connection speed, view your images with their speed preferences. It will
also preload the next image in to the cache so slow connections don't have
to wait longer to view an image.
Emailing of Lightbox
A Lightbox can be send
to anyone with a e-mail address. The recipient can view your images but
not remove them from the lightbox. They can however add them to their own
current lightbox add build a collection of their own to send forward. If
a Lightbox is send, you can give it a subject so you can group images together
and give them appropriate names.
Zip and download of the
Lightbox
When a site visitor
clicks on the download button, all files in the Lightbox will be zipped
up and offered for download.
