Picture Post Mod, which comes bundled for free with ImageFolio Professional Edition,
allows your users to upload assets/files to administrator permitted categories. Administrators assign permissions to add/modify captions, move/remove user files, save high resolution files, upload only to subcategories, require approval before files can be viewed, etc. The Picture Post Mod generates thumbnail
images, and resizes large images to your specifications -- including maximum
dimensions, image quality, sharpness, and contrast. ImageFolio's Picture Post
Mod offers support for up to 68 file types, including GIF, JPEG, TIF, PSD,
PNG, BMP, WMF, MPEG, and many more!

The Picture Post
Mod has some impressive features:
User Configuration Settings
You control the image quality, border size, sharpness, and contrast of both
the thumbnail image and the big picture.
Template Based
The Picture Post Mod is 100% HTML template based. You can easily integrate
the design with your existing site and modify the templates using any HTML
or text editor.
Required Field Control
There are 7 fields. You decide which ones you want your visitors to use. If
you don't want to use captions, or keywords, or their name, simply omit those
fields from your template.
Automatic Source Image Deletion
The Picture Post Mod uses a temporary uploads folder. Images that are uploaded
are deleted immediately after a thumbnail and big picture have been created
from the source file. In addition, if a file is not binary, the Picture Post
Mod deletes it and warns the visitor.
Password Protectable
If you don't want just anybody posting to your gallery, you can put your script
in a password-protected directory.
ImageFolio Plug-in
The Picture Post Mod plugs right in to ImageFolio Pro. Simply add 1 line of
code to your existing imageFolio.cgi file. When visitors browse your gallery,
they will see a "Post Your Picture Here" link on every category
page.
Opt-in Mailing List
The Picture Post Mod can log the visitors name and email address to a database
if the visitor chooses to opt-in to your mailing list. You can have the data
saved in any format (you define it) and to any file located on your server.
If you have existing mailing list software, just tell the Picture Post Mod
what format that database is in, where the location is, and every visitor
who posts will be logged to your mailing list.
Caption and Keywords Capture
Why add captions and search keywords yourself when your visitors can do it
for you? The Picture Post Mod allows the visitor to enter his/her own caption
plus searchable keywords. Captions and keywords are saved to your existing
databases.
Image Creation and Correction
The Picture Post Mod creates 2 images from each source image file, a thumbnail
and a big picture, and corrects them on the fly. Correction refers to the
sharpness, contrast, and dimensions of an image.
Image Borders
You can set the border size, in pixels, for both the thumbnail and big picture.
Multiple File Formats
A visitor who posts to your gallery may upload images in a wide variety of
graphical formats, including but not limited to: JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, TGA,
Photoshop (PSD), and more.
