This program has been tested and works fully on the following platforms:
HP Compaq HP-UX, Microsoft Windows, RedHat Linux, Debian Linux, GNU Linux, SuSE Linux, OpenBSD Unix, NetBSD Unix, Sun Cobalt RaQ Linux, Sun Solaris Unix, FreeBSD Unix, Apple MacOS X,
Novell, SCO Unix, IBM AIX Unix, and will work
on any and all operating systems with Perl 5.005 or greater installed.
To do an install of ImageFolio on your server, you will need the following:
- A working copy of Perl version 5.005 or greater, which is
freely available and already installed on 95% of all Linux and Unix systems and 40% of Windows systems
- Ability to run CGI scripts on your server (Note: 90% of hosting accounts allow for this)
- Adequate server space for your image collection (Please note: if you do not have adequate space on your server, BizDesign can provide you with space through our ImageFolio Hosting Services.)
- Only 3 MB of server space for ImageFolio
- Compress::Zlib Perl Module (OPTIONALLY, and required only for zip-up and unzip compression functions - already installed on 80% of all servers)
